IMNEX Extra services

IMNEX only offers road transport from and to Poland.

We can collect goods in Benelux, Western and Southern Europe on a daily basis. Complete loads (FTL shipments) are transported directly to their destinations in Poland. Groupage and partial loads (LTL shipments) are consolidated in the DC of IMNEX in Nijmegen.

Daily departure from and to Poland

IMNEX offers 3 to 4 times a week departure with its Polish groupage carriers to and from various destinations in West, Nord-East and Southern Poland. Complete loads can be loaded daily. The options for groupage, part loads and complete loads apply both for exports to and  imports from Poland.

In addition to regular road transport of palletized goods, we also provide temperature controlled transport and exceptional transport to and from Poland.

Mandatory documents for all shipments to Poland

Poland has been EU member state since 2004, so the CMR consignment note is sufficient.

Registration requirement 'sensitive goods' in Poland

On April 18, 2017 the law entered into force on the monitoring of road transport of sensitive goods in Poland. This concerns in particular the transport of excise goods, such as tobacco products, alcohol and fuels. Prior to the transport the goods must be registered in the e-register.

In accordance with this law, companies that intend to transport goods that the Ministry of Finance considers to be ‘sensitive’ must register transport online in the SENT register on the Platform for Electronic Fiscal Customs Services.

The system generates a unique ID number that the sender / consignor must provide to the carrier and consignee.

After delivery of the goods, the carrier and consignee must also register this delivery in the system.

The generated ID number has a validity of 10 days and must be able to be shown during transportation.
Carrier and driver who haven’t received ID number must appeal to their clients or otherwise refuse the order.

Transport of ‘sensitive goods’ under 500 kg or under 500 liters doesn’t have to be registered.

Penalties are imposed start from 1 May 2017 if notifications (ID numbers) are missing or incorrect. For non-registration of the transport, a fine of 46% of the net value of the goods transported, but no less than PLN 20 thousand (about 5 thousand Euro).

The fine for the carrier that doesn’t have a notification of the transport, or the notification is not in accordance with the transported goods, is also PLN 20,000.
The driver of goods, which are not registered by the client or customer, will have to pay a fine of 5000 – 7500 PLN.
